Newly single Ashley Darby of The Real Housewives of Potomac struck up a flirtation with Summer House star Luke Gulbranson at this year’s BravoCon. Ashley is divorcing Michael Darby after eight years of marriage. The estranged spouses share two sons, Dean and Dylan. While promoting the new season of RHOP on Watch What Happens Live, Ashley mentioned she was interested in meeting Luke. Now, the two have not only met, but are openly flirting with one another throughout the Bravo fan convention.
Luke spoke about connecting with Ashley to People. The interview took place after Saturday’s Summer House panel, where the 38-year-old named her the Bravolebrity he’d like to appear on the show. Expanding on his answer to People, he said, “If we had to bring somebody on the show…it might as well be somebody that’s pretty and apparently thinks I’m cute. So I was like, ‘It makes sense, doesn’t it?'” The two met the night before. Luke said they had “a nice chat,” adding, “I look forward to chatting more throughout the weekend.” Luke’s Summer House co-star Andrea Denver remarked, “they looked like high school lovers.” Later that Saturday, Bravo‘s official Instagram posted photos of the two at the Bravo After Dark party. During RHOP‘s panel on Sunday, Ashley mentioned they hung out, sharing, “I’m having a really fun time.” The 34-year-old added, “Turns out we have a lot of common interests. We both like horseback riding and hiking and all that crunchy s—. A girl doesn’t kiss and tell. Can I plead the fifth?”
Andy Cohen Set Ashley Darby & Luke Gulbranson Up
After she mentioned Luke on WWHL, host Andy Cohen promised to get him and Ashley to meet. BravoCon appeared to be the perfect opportunity. Ashley, who has fan support amid her divorce, told People she and Luke “exchanged numbers [and] texted a bit.” The “pretty single” TV star continued, “At this point, I feel like I’m doing some research trying to figure out what I’m supposed to say…you’re supposed to be a little coy and give a little, not too much. But me, I would just say everything, so I’m trying to learn how to be more strategic.”
Andy isn’t the only Bravo personality who supports Luke and Ashley. Summer House‘s Lindsey Hubbard said when she and Ashley “randomly shared a car” to the convention, “I was like, ‘By the way, Luke’s one of my best friends,’ and I was just really talking him up.” Her fiancé Carl Radke chimed in to say Luke is great with kids. Lindsey also said she thinks her friend is ready to settle down after seeing her and Carl’s successful relationship.
If Ashley and Luke do begin dating, they won’t be the first Bravo stars from different shows to do so. Most notably, Luke’s co-star Paige DeSorbo began dating Southern Charm‘s Craig Conover after meeting on the crossover series Winter House. Time will tell if Ashley and Luke are the new Paige and Craig. But for the time being, fans of the former pageant queen can see her navigate being newly single throughout The Real Housewives of Potomac season 7.
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
