The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton are clashing, and while it is normal for sisters to argue now and then, they are definitely giving fans a run for their money. The two sisters have multiple issues with one another, some of which date back to childhood. While many viewers were hoping that the two women could mend their relationships, it doesn’t look like that will be the case.
Kathy and Kim have come to a stalemate, according to People, as years of “family trauma” have finally left their mark. According to the outlet, Kathy and Kyle brought some serious energy to the reunion, which was taped in September. Sadly, thanks to Lisa Rinna’s persistence about outing Kathy’s aggression, it doesn’t look like the sisters will ever fully heal their relationship. A source close to Kathy and Kyle shared that neither one is “backing down” from the fight.
Kathy and Kyle’s Relationship Is Complicated
As most RHOBH fans are already aware, Kyle has done everything she can to stand by Kathy, and this has definitely taken its toll on Kyle over the years. Kathy never seems to be satisfied with Kyle’s attempts at squashing their beef; in fact, Kathy often goes out of her way to reignite the family turmoil. The arguing has become so bad that Kathy’s own children, Paris Hilton and Nicky Rothschild, have had to intervene for the first time. As Bravo viewers know, all the children grew up together, with Kyle actually acting as the Hilton family spokesperson at one point. Sadly, since the reunion, Kathy and Kyle have only spoken sporadically via text.
The sister’s feud goes back years, with many feeling that all three siblings, including Kim Richards, have an issue with competition. Their mother Kathleen Richards started her daughters out in the acting world, and each child grew up in the cutthroat business. Kyle and Kathy first fell out due to an issue between Rick Hilton and Mauricio Umansky, when the hotel heir refused to make his brother-in-law a partner in his real estate firm. Mauricio had years of success, but eventually chose to leave, and start his own firm, The Agency Real Estate. Kathy then took the feud a step further, when she disinvited Kyle from Nicky’s wedding.
Kathy has hated having to be vulnerable in front of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cameras. Viewers doubt that Kathy will ever forgive her sister for putting her in such a position. The reunion has already shown Kyle in tears, with Andy Cohen questioning if she is okay to continue. Sadly, the two sisters are still very much on the outs, and fans can assume that they won’t be seeing Kathy back on the series anytime soon.
