The Pokémon GO Festival of Lights 2022 is approaching, and trainers will have the chance to encounter some particularly illuminating Pokémon.
The Pokémon GO Season of Light is in full swing, and the upcoming Festival of Lights 2022 will brighten trainers’ days with new illuminating Pokémon. Morelull and Shiinotic will be making their official debut during this special event, and trainers who explore at night may encounter Pokémon that glow in the dark. While the Season of Light will continue until December 1st, players have a limited time to enjoy the Festival’s bonuses and increased encounter rates.
The Pokémon GO Festival Of Lights 2022 will be held the weekend of October 14 – 17. Trainers have from 10:00 am on Friday until 8:00 pm on Monday (local time) to participate. The Festival also coincides with Pokémon GO’s Litwick Community Day, which will give players the chance to encounter Shiny Litwick in the wild on October 15th.
The Festival of Lights will see an increase in the encounter rates of certain Pokémon, and lucky players may encounter a Shiny Pikachu, Vulpix, Magnemite, Chinchou, or Litleo in the wild. A number of different Pokémon will also be appearing in Raids during the Festival, including Xerneas and Mega Manectric. Players will also enjoy special Event Bonuses, Timed Research tasks, and themed Stickers until the Festival ends on October 17th.
