Her decision to take some time off comes after her home was broken into.
According to TMZ, a pair of thieves burglarized the home while Megan was in New York last week to host Saturday Night Live.
The men reportedly headed straight for the primary bedroom and stole an estimated $300-$400K in jewelry, cash and electronics.
Following news of the robbery, Megan took to Twitter to express her shock, writing, “Wow.”

She later added, “Material things can be replaced but I’m glad everyone is safe 💙🙏🏾.”

Then, just minutes later, Megan revealed her decision to take a step back from the spotlight.
“Hotties im really sorry but after SNL I really gotta take a break I’m so tired, physically and emotionally,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, police are still actively searching for the criminals and although there have been no arrests yet, there is video footage from the incident.
Megan has not yet said how long her time off will be but I’m hoping she enjoys some rest and relaxation — and those thieves are caught!
