Elle Fanning looked unrecognisable as she recreated Britney Spears’ iconic costume from the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards.
The actress shared never-before-seen photos of her posing like the Toxic singer with a long yellow snake draped across her arms while sporting a cropped green top with mini bike shorts and plenty of glitter.
Fanning posted the images to Instagram, alongside the caption, “Ghosts of Halloween past.”
The star was praised by a slew of her famous friends, including Paris Hilton, who dubbed the costume “Iconic.”
Chloe Moretz also chimed in, writing, “This costume is FANTASTIC.”
