Actor and comedian T.J. Miller has claimed Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds was “horrifically mean” to him after the pair starred alongside each other in the first two Deadpool films.
In a new interview for the Adam Corolla Show podcast, Miller, 41, won’t be returning in the upcoming Deadpool 3 film after experiencing a “really weird” interaction with Reynolds while filming the superhero flicks in 2016 and 2018.
Miller – who played Jack Hammer, aka Weasel who worked at the mercenary bar –alleged Reynolds called him by his character’s name throughout filming the first instalment, which he said made him feel uncomfortable.
“Would I work with him again? No, I would not work with him again,” Miller said on the podcast.
“We had a really weird moment on Deadpool where he said, ‘Let’s do one more take.’ And then as the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I’m Weasel,” Miller claimed.
“So he was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition so that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.'”

Miller said he thinks Reynolds is “kind of an insecure dude” and “it’s weird that he hates me”, while also claiming fame changed 45-year-old Reynolds, who is married to Gossip Girl alum Blake Lively.
“I got along with him a lot better on the first Deadpool because he wasn’t a huge, huge movie star. He was sort of a movie star who kinda struck out a few times, most notably with Green Lantern,” Miller said.
“So I love him as a comedian, but I think after he got super, super famous from the first Deadpool, then things kinda changed. I think he was like, ‘See? You guys, see?'”

Miller said that while he wasn’t invited to reprise his character in Deadpool 3, he would not have signed on to the next instalment if asked.
“I would not have done Deadpool 3 if they came to me and were like, ‘We want you to do Deadpool 3, and we’re going to pay you twice as much,'” he said.
“I don’t wish them any ill will. I think [Reynolds] should make a Deadpool 3 and continue to make movies. I just think he doesn’t like me, and I thought it was weird how he expressed that.”
