Crystal Reveals Why She Lost Friends In RHOBH Season 12 Reunion Clip

[ad_1]

Crystal Kung Minkoff’s ex-relationships were an unexplained mystery that piqued fans’ interests in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12, and a new clip from the upcoming RHOBH season 12 reunion shows Crystal finally confirming, and addressing, the dissolution of her former friendships. Crystal, who became a housewife for RHOBH season 11, immediately found herself at odds with Sutton Stracke, which continued during RHOBH season 12 after Crystal accused Sutton of saying something “dark.” While Sutton’s alleged comments were never confirmed, Sutton revealed that Crystal was dropped by 14 friends in response. Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards explained in separate confessionals that the news wasn’t new to them. But with Erika Girardi’s legal issues and Kathy Hilton’s alleged meltdown overshadowing the other events of RHOBH season 12, Crystal’s previous friendships quickly took a backseat.

Crystal’s former friend group wasn’t the most dramatic storyline of RHOBH season 12, but viewers have continued to wonder why, and how, Crystal lost so many friends at one time. In a clip shared by the Instagram account The Reality Rundown, Crystal reveals at the RHOBH season 12 reunion that her relationships began to change after she was cast as a housewife. “I said [to Lisa] that I’ve been dealing with some women that are suddenly not talking to me since I’ve done the show,” Crystal says. Further explaining that Lisa gave Crystal the advice to “get ready [because] this is the beginning,” Crystal says that once she was cast as a housewife on RHOBH with husband Rob Minkoff, her friends began acting “weird,” which eventually led to her friendships ending.

RHOBH’s Kyle Richards Calls Crystal’s Explanation ‘Confusing’

While Crystal’s explanation seems to satisfy host Andy Cohen and most of her RHOBH co-stars, Kyle quickly questions Crystal and calls her story “contradictory” and “very confusing” in the RHOBH season 12 reunion clip. Alleging that some of Crystal’s friends were upset because they wanted to appear on RHOBH, Kyle claims that she heard the backstory behind Crystal’s former friend group “completely different” and implies that the drama was unrelated to RHOBH. Kyle doesn’t elaborate, however, and until Crystal’s former friends reveal themselves, it doesn’t look like Bravo fans will learn anything else about the debacle.

Although Kyle chooses to pick a battle with Crystal at the upcoming reunion, the explosive RHOBH season 12 trailer strongly hints that the largest conflict of the night will be between Lisa and Kyle’s sister Kathy Richards, with Kyle planted squarely in the middle. With Lisa and Kathy locked in a tight feud since the RHOBH season 12 group trip to Aspen, Bravo’s sneak peek shows Kyle’s sister calling her Fox Force Five friend “the biggest bully in Hollywood,” while the rest of the group looks on. Before Kyle ends the RHOBH season 12 reunion in tears, she and Crystal also plan to butt heads over Crystal’s continued use of the word “violated.”

Considering that the housewives have bigger fish to fry at the RHOBH season 12 reunion, viewers shouldn’t expect too big of a spectacle over Crystal’s former friend group. On the other hand, rumors have swirled that one of Crystal’s former friends was former housewife and Fox Force Five member Teddi Mellencamp, which explains how Kyle may have heard a different story. Either way, RHOBH fans only need to wait just a little longer for some of their questions to be answered when the first part of the RHOBH season 12 reunion airs on October 12.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
