All Of The Real Housewives Halloween Episodes, Ranked

[ad_1]

With Halloween quickly approaching, there’s nothing more satisfying than watching Bravo’s The Real Housewives’ past Halloween episodes. There have been a few costume parties in each franchise, but nothing beats the actual holiday of Halloween and seeing the women and their families get in the spooky spirit.

Some cities in the franchise have more Halloween episodes than others, and this is typically based on when production begins filming. If a season is filmed in the fall, a Halloween showdown is sure to commence. For the women of Bravo, when there are costumes involved and endless themed cocktails, the drama becomes scarier than the decorations.

When it comes to Halloween, even the Housewives love to get dressed up and celebrate with the rest of the country. Whether it’s with their kids or a themed party with the rest of the cast, the women of The Real Housewives know how to dress up and get down. And while Halloween should be fun and lighthearted, these episodes proved that some Halloweens were dramatic or lackluster compared to others.

14/14 ‘Stop And Throw The Roses’

The Real Housewives of New York City (Season 13, Episode 6)

In season 13 of RHONY, the women have their own Halloween party in the Hamptons. With few people due to COVID-19, Luann de Lesseps decided to organize a 1970s themed-Halloween pageant.

The women dressed in costume and had a talent in mind to perform for the judges, but, due to tensions in the group already being high—Luann and newer Housewife Eboni had a fight a few days earlier, and Leah McSweeney was not handling the death of her grandmother well—this pageant was a mess. Fans were excited to get to know RHONY’s Eboni K. Williams this season, but the costume party was not the place. By the end of the episode, Leah threw a bouquet of roses at Heather Thomson as she let her emotions get the best of her. Ironically, Leah was the one who won the pageant, but this was ultimately a boring event with unsolicited anger.

13/14 ‘Nightmare On Peachtree Street’

The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Season 10, Episode 18)

‘Nightmare on Peachtree Street’ was Halloween-themed, and it was also RHOA’s season’s finale before a wild reunion filled with conflicts. Cynthia took home the prize for best costume as 50 Cent, while NeNe came in second place as an exterminator with her late husband Gregg as a cockroach.

The episode focused on Shereé and a few of the women who were upset with Porsha for saying that she didn’t trust anyone in her group of friends. While the Halloween costumes were perfect, the storyline was lackluster, making it a bland episode.

12/14 ‘Sharkbait & Sleeping With The Fishes’

The Real Housewives of New York City (Season 11, Episode 6)

In season 11, RHONY fans supported Dorinda throwing a Halloween bash at Blue Stone Manor because there’s never a dull moment at her Berkshires home.

However, while Dorinda’s home was decorated impeccably, that was the only spooky thing that happened. There were no costumes, and most of the drama came from Luann being upset about sleeping in the Fish Room and Sonja crying about the Morgan Letters. Because of the lack of Halloween attempts from the other women, this episode had room for growth within the theme.

11/14 ‘If You’ve Got It, Haunt It’

The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Season 13, Episode 14)

In season 13, Porsha’s friend Fallynn throws a Halloween party and invites all the women. The women’s costumes, once again, did not disappoint on RHOA. Cynthia Bailey came as hand sanitizer, Kandi Burruss as a cheetah, and Drew Sidora dressed as a character from Cats the musical.

With season 13’s storyline of RHOA focusing on Cynthia’s wedding at the height of COVID-19, a break with a Halloween party was appreciated. Once LaToya Ali arrived, however, the fun ended. She had too much to drink and was arguing with all the women before being escorted out of the party — but that didn’t stop her from yelling nonsense at everyone on her way to the car. Because of the dramatic storyline while dressed in costumes, this episode is a heavy hitter.

10/14 ‘Unfashionably Late’

The Real Housewives of New York City (Season 2, Episode 10)

When past Housewife Kelly Killoren Bensimon decided to throw a Halloween shindig in season 2, the Housewives attended to support their friend. However, Kelly was nowhere to be found.

To make matters worse, it was a cash bar, which the women were not pleased about. By the time Kelly eventually showed up two hours later, Luann and Bethenny Frankel had already left because they were tired of waiting for Kelly. Of course, Kelly thought their early departure was rude, and it only triggered the ongoing feud between Kelly and Bethenny. While it was fun watching the Housewives wait for Kelly, the party was a busy one for Housewives fans.

9/14 ‘Meet & Potatoes’

The Real Housewives of Orange County (Season 9, Episode 2)

‘Meet & Potatoes’ was one of the few Halloween episodes for the women of RHOC. In the episode, Tamra Judge hosts a spooky dinner for the cast with a tarot card reader. Fans supported Shannon’s introduction as a new Housewife and loved watching Vicki Gunvalson judge her for being new to the group.

Unlike other get-togethers, this dinner went surprisingly well. Everyone got along, dressed in spooky garb, and enjoyed Tamra’s haunted house. It’s not often a Halloween party goes right, which is why this episode was particularly fun to watch.

8/14 ‘Drop Dead Gorgas’

The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Season 3, Episode 2)

Season 3 of RHONJ kicked off with a Halloween episode and a new Housewife, Melissa Gorga. Fans supported Melissa as a new Housewife, but it wasn’t easy, as Teresa and co. were against her joining the series from the start.

Nevertheless, the women spent Halloween apart. The cameras rolled as each Housewife got their kids ready for Halloween and took them trick-or-treating. Later in the night, the Gorgas went partying, while the Giudices had a Halloween party at home. It was a family-friendly episode, showing the realities of being a Halloween-loving parent.

7/14 ‘Good Will Haunting’

The Real Housewives of Potomac (Season 4, Episode 2)

Ashley’s marriage to Michael Darby was a huge storyline in RHOP‘s fourth season after he was charged with sexual assault by none other than a Bravo cameraman.

The group met up to visit an orchestrated haunted forest, but it was Ashley and Michael against the world. There were no costumes, but there was an incredibly spooky backdrop that added some humor to a tense evening with Michael. Between Michael’s storyline, the haunted house they visited, and the costumes surrounding them, this was a fun episode to watch in Autumn.

6/14 ‘House of Horrors’

The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Season 11, Episode 13)

In season 11, Margaret Josephs decided to throw a party for both Halloween and her birthday. Everyone dressed to impress, with Melissa and Joe Gorga as merpeople, Dolores and Frank Catainia Sr. as plastic surgery nightmares, Teresa Giudice as cotton candy, and Margaret as Morticia Addams. Everyone looked incredible, which added to the excitement of the episode.

The best husbands of New Jersey also pulled their weight and had a great time at the party. As always, however, Jennifer Aydin couldn’t help herself, had too many tequila shots, and the drama soon revolved around Joe’s treatment of Dolores from episodes prior. By the end of the episode, the Gorgas left in a tizzy and this party was as scary as Halloween.

5/14 ‘Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun’

The Real Housewives of New York (Season 10, Episode 1)

Dorinda achieved Queen Bee status when she threw yet another Halloween party for the women. Unlike in season 11, the women wore costumes to this party. Dorinda Medley dressed as Lady Gaga in a bubble dress, Ramona Singer dressed as Britney Spears, Tinsley Mortimer followed as Madonna, and Bethenny came as Barbie.

As great as everyone looked, the party was hostile. Dorinda went after Sonja for being anti-social, Ramona and Bethenny argued about real estate in the Hamptons, and Luann was depressed over the demise of her marriage with Tom. With so much happening, this was a phenomenal Halloween episode.

4/14 ‘Meet Rinna Jayne’

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Season 9, Episode 16)

With RHOBH’s Kyle Richards’ daughter, Farrah, having an October birthday, she and Mauricio threw a Halloween bash for their closest friends to celebrate. While three of the women came as cats, Lisa Rinna took the cake when she dressed as fellow Housewife Erika Jayne. Erika loved the costume and was flattered by it, but the others thought Rinna went too far with her impression.

Meanwhile, Kim Richards and Lisa Rinna couldn’t let bygones be bygones with Bunnygate from seasons prior. Although too much drama didn’t go down, their costumes and the party itself were stellar.

3/14 ‘Face To Two-Face’

The Real Housewives of Dallas (Season 2, Episode 3)

As the only Halloween-themed episode in RHOD, ‘Face to Two-Faced’ didn’t disappoint. Stephanie Hollman threw a Halloween party at her new house and asked for everyone to come in costume.

While everyone looked great, LeeAnne Locken made the episode a standout by dressing up as a two-faced Stephanie, and insulting the host of the party was as shocking as it gets. Even LeeAnne’s therapist questioned her choice of dressing as something so wounding.

2/14 ‘A Hairy Situation’ ‘One Flew Over the Chicken’s Nest’

The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Season 6, Episodes 4 & 5)

This episode wasn’t necessarily a Halloween party, but it was a costume-themed party for the first responders held by Nicole and Bobby.

Everyone dressed as first responders and tried to have a good time, but the night ended in horror—just like Halloween. Amber’s outspoken husband, Jim, began insulting Joe Giudice, and Amber and Teresa got into a hair-pulling match. The easy-going costume party ended in a scrum and people left early. As chaotic as it sounds, it’s exactly what Real Housewives fans are looking for, and they loved this episode because of it.

1/14 ‘Eat, Drink and Be Scary’

The Real Housewives of New York (Season 12, Episodes 12)

In season 12, it was most of the Housewives vs. Ramona. With Ramona’s birthday party being a dramatic storyline in the RHONY season, she ignored her true friends in the hopes of an epic birthday bash.

This came to a head at Luann’s Halloween party when Sonja, Dorinda, and Elyse were drunk before they even got to the party. What followed was a drunken speech by Dorinda, Sonja drunkenly eating food with her bare hands, and Leah attacking a seafood tower meant for the table. The absurdity of it all made it an incredible episode.
