In a preview clip for the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Shaeeda Sween received some upsetting news about her pregnancy chances. Shaeeda and her partner Bilal have made fertility the centerpiece of their time on 90 Day Fiancé, and recent developments have only further complicated a contentious issue. Previous on-screen visits by Shaeeda to fertility doctors have led to fans crying foul, but this most recent information raises new concerns.
In a new 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? preview clip, posted to ET, Shaeeda returns to her doctor to hear the results of a recent test that will determine how many egg cells she has left. She hopes for good news, but she admits that “anytime a doctor calls you into the office rather than giving you the results virtually, you do tend to think something could shift and go wrong.” Her doctor quickly confirms these fears, showing that the tests denote a low ovarian reserve. Given Shaeeda and Bilal’s numerous attempts to get pregnant, this comes as a crushing blow to their possibilities.
‘Time Is Of The Essence’ For 90 Day Fiancé’s Shaeeda & Bilal
The 90 Day Fiancé couple’s fertility specialist points out that all is not lost, as this test result is not the only “predictor that you can get pregnant. It just means that, hey, time is of the essence.” Pregnancy before Shaeeda turns 40 was part of the prenup that she and Bilal agreed to, but Bilal did not find much sense of urgency in this news. Pointing to stories that he has heard that made him believe the women in Shaeeda’s family were “pretty fertile,” Bilal seems unfazed by the test results. He states that he does “think [they’re] still kind of putting the cart before the horse maybe a little bit because there hasn’t been any issues, thank God.”
The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has made a villain out of Bilal, and these most recent developments are not doing him any favors. His disclaimers and reactions make him seem indifferent to Shaeeda’s health and fertility concerns, another aspect of his penchant for lecturing and dismissing the concerns of others. The prenuptial agreement, crafted to ensure Shaeeda’s desire for a child, also does not protect her in the event of divorce, leaving the couple with one slim path to stay together. With many fans already annoyed that Bilal has stayed with the franchise past 90 Day Fiancé, this event will do little to turn him into a sympathetic figure.
The news that Shaeeda received still leaves some possibility to fulfill her desires of a child with Bilal. While it is obvious that Bilal is inconsiderate to her needs and seems detached from the fertility process as a whole, 90 Day Fiancé fans have seen Shaeeda’s drive to have children with her partner. While the prognosis leaves a slim window of possible fertility, there is still a chance that Shaeeda and Bilal could conceive. Whether Bilal adjusts his viewpoint accordingly and moves up his stated timeline for wanting to conceive remains to be seen.
