Veronica Rodriguez and Justin Foster are headed on a romantic weekend getaway in a sneak peek from the October 10 episode of 90 Day: The Single Life when Justin reveals a cold sore may foil their plans. Veronica became a beloved member of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise when her ex-boyfriend and father of her daughter, Tim Malcolm, was featured in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3. Despite a failed dating relationship, Tim and Veronica have undeniable chemistry and remain close friends, which is often a point of contention in their relationships. After several appearances at the Tell-Alls and stints on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, Veronica was introduced as a main cast member during The Single Life season 3, which follows her adventures in dating her new love interest, Justin.
After meeting online and talking for months, Justin and Veronica finally met in person and hit it off. A preview clip from the next episode of The Single Life, shared by People, featured the duo in the car as they headed out of town for a romantic getaway in the mountains, with Justin admitting he had a cold sore. After mentioning her “bosom is falling out” of her blouse, Justin became distracted and took his eyes away from the road so he could catch the wardrobe mishap. Veronica jokingly admonished him but took the opportunity to confront him about something that was concerning her. She confessed, “I’m trying to merge into you; however, you didn’t even kiss me when you got to my house. I mean, what’s up with that?”
The Single Life‘s Veronica & Justin Willing To Get Creative
Veronica’s direct question seemed to make Justin a bit apprehensive. After taking a beat, he nervously admitted, “A couple times a year, I get cold sores right here on the lips, and I have one…I would feel horrible if I gave you mouth herpes.” Veronica shared her disappointment that the vibe of their weekend had changed, and their plans to be romantic hit a roadblock. “Now we can’t even kiss. I don’t know how we’re going to do this.” Determined not to let her weekend plans be foiled, she shared a potential solution. “Are we going to just Pretty Woman it up?” Veronica asked. “Like, we can do it—but no kissing?” Justin appeared to be on board with the newly devised plan. The preview clip ended with Veronica and Justin making it to their destination, where Veronica quickly changed into lingerie and reiterated her plan to figure out their sexual compatibility.
Despite having to probe Justin for information, Veronica handled the surprising news fairly well. Justin was aware of the weekend and their intentions and could have prevented Veronica’s concern and overthinking. However, his silence caused Veronica to be confused over his interest in her romantically as she expressed at the start of the clip. Justin could have been forthcoming with her once the cold sore developed, which would have given her the option to decide if they should reschedule.
Justin was likely nervous or embarrassed to share the news with her as their relationship is still in the developmental stages. However, any concern was quickly erased by Veronica’s easygoing and understanding nature. As evidenced by the sneak peek, her initial disappointment quickly dissolved, and she instead chose to focus on how they could make the weekend successful. Ultimately, Justin shared the news when it mattered and put Veronica’s well-being over his own ego. The couple’s genuine interest in pursuing a relationship becomes more apparent with each episode of The Single Life.
